The Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival is a long-time tradition for Fernandina Beach, taking place in downtown Amelia Island. Every year offers endless fun! At the festival, you can expect tons of festival favorites starting with the Pirate Parade at 6PM on Thursday, April 30th. The festival runs Friday evening, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday and includes waterfront food booths, Kids Fun Zone, live entertainment, arts and crafts booths, antiques, lots of contests, the Miss Shrimp Festival Pageant, lots of decorated shrimp boats, and the shrimp run.
