The Island Hop 5k on Amelia Island is exactly how you want to start the day of the Island Hop Craft Beer Festival. Starting at 7:30 am on Saturday, October 1, 2022, the race gives participants a chance to burn a few calories before heading to the main event a few blocks away. Beginning and ending at the Atlantic Rec Center, the course is a mix of sidewalk and road, and follows the block inside Fletcher Ave/A1A and Citrona Dr.
The party continues after the race, when finishers can replenish their carbs with pastries from Nana Teresa’s Bake Shop. Wash it all down with cold beers from the nation’s top NA craft brewery, Athletic Brewing, and a cup of our favorite coffee from Mocama Beer Company.
All runners get an official race shirt, and finishers are provided a special Island Hop 5k finisher's award. Overall male and female winners will receive VIP passes to the Beer Festival, either as an upgrade for themselves or for a friend. Age-group prizes will also be awarded. This is the inaugural year for this 5k and spaces are limited, so don’t wait to register!
