FBMS will once again hold a Downtown Trick or Treat event for Halloween. This event will be held on Friday, October 28th, beginning at 10am. Local families and school children from nearby preschools typically participate. Downtown businesses hand out treats. Participation is voluntary. Main Street shares information on the event with both merchants and the public via a Facebook event, community calendars, and an invitation to the media outlets to send a photographer.

The FBPD and the Nassau County Sheriff's office usually participate as well.
